Need Charity’s Big Orphanage In Afghanistan

What is an orphan? A child who doesn’t have his mother or father, and sometimes, unfortunately, neither. Orphans mostly cannot get the attention and the love they need from their family. In developed countries, they might get the care they require to be a good person of the society, but in under-developed countries, the orphans mostly need to work to earn the money their family need. So, life is more than difficult for the orphans in under-developed countries.

As NEED Charity, we strive to help the orphans in every way possible. Our orphanage in Afghanistan is the proof for it. It has a capacity of 300 children. The children come in the morning and go at the evening to their homes because we don’t want them to feel abandoned by their families, and still get to see their family members every day. They learn Quran in this orphanage, they also learn math, English language, tailoring, and carpet weaving so that they will have a job after they graduate from this facility, and even if they cannot continue their education, they will be able to earn their own money (we would prefer they continue their education, though).

And now as NEED Charity, we will be starting our 300 Orphan Sponsorship campaign for 2024, in the next couple of days as we did last year. Thanks to your support, 300 orphans and a few of the poorest children were able to attend our orphanage. Now, it’s time to renew their sponsorships. We know that with your support we will be able to continue to take care of them. If you also want to sponsor an orphan, all you need to do is to reach us and we’ll send you the details about the orphan you will sponsor. May Allah accept from everyone who contributes to these children’s lives.

Don’t forget, The Rasoolullah (saw) said: “I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this,” putting his index and middle fingers together. May Allah allow us to be one of these people.

Iraqi Orphans Received Their Trust

Our work reveals how sensitive we are about orphans. We spend a large part of our resources to find solutions to the problems of our orphan brothers and sisters. We have never considered the work done on this path sufficient, and we never will. Because we consider our orphans as our own family. Just as we take care of our own children and siblings, as we worry about their problems and dote on them, we share the same sensitivity for our orphan brothers and sisters who are miles away from us and try to live accordingly. Thankfully we are not alone on this path. Our donors, who agree with us and do not hesitate to spend their resources for their orphan brothers and sisters, have stood by us from the very beginning.

Orphan Aid Reached Iraq

As we mentioned in our previous articles, unfortunately, Iraq is a country that comes first in terms of orphan population. The reason for this is, of course, the years of war. Unfortunately, despite being a very rich country in terms of underground resources, Iraq cannot benefit from these resources. It can even be said that these resources are a nuisance to the country. Rich oil resources make the imperialist states lick their lips. The imperialists, who cannot reach these resources in their own lands, are establishing dominance over the countries that they can bite down on and that have these resources with various tricks. As a result of this domination, what is left of the country is pain, grief, and poverty. This is what happened to Iraq as well. Unfortunately, the US occupation, which lasted for years, left hundreds of orphans behind.

IHCRO Besides Iraqi Orphans

In a bulletin we shared about the oppressed orphans of Iraq, we mentioned that a special aid will be given to these brothers and sisters. Apart from the orphan campaigns that we regularly deal with and carry out, this time we organized a special campaign for our Iraqi orphan brothers and sisters. As a part of this campaign, we provided financial assistance to 150 orphans. We delivered the aids to our brothers and sisters in a program where they could have fun and be happy. May Allah be pleased with everyone who contributed to this campaign that made our orphan brothers smile and relieved their troubles a little bit.

Orphan Home #60 Completed !

The 60th orphan home that we continued to build within the scope of one hundred orphan houses we started in the last month of Saban and Ramadan have been completed in Benin. A project that transforms from poverty, homelessness, mud or tree branches into warm homes…

According to the Department for International Development, Benin was hardest hit out of the 1.6 million people in Africa who experienced the consequences of the severe rains.

In 2010, when more than 680,000 people were compelled to abandon their homes due to severe floods brought on by torrential rainfall, demands for humanitarian relief to Benin increased once more. Many people may suffer terrible and long-lasting repercussions from the loss of their houses, cattle, clothing, agricultural equipment, and seeds.

As an organization, we continue our humanitarian aid activities in Benin, as in all of Africa. Since orphans are always our priority, we included the country of Benin in our orphan homes project and we continue to complete our homes here as well.

It is a pleasure to see another orphan family with smiling faces. We will try to quickly complete the remaining forty orphan homes. God bless those who contributed.
