Disasters and
Malnutrition

Uganda

Uganda is a landlocked African country. It has a population of more than 49.6 million.

Uganda is facing multiple humanitarian risks, like disease outbreaks, high number of refugees, climate shocks, food insecurity and high rates of malnutrition thoroughout the year.

More than 89,000 children aged 6-59 months are suffering from acute malnutrition in 2023 and 2024. Other than that, there are many orphans who are trying to live in orphanages that don’t even have proper windows or beds. The economy and the opportunities of the country is never enough for anyone.

Our Works in Uganda

In Uganda, we have distributed hot meals, iftars, zakat, and food packs, and slaugthered qurbanis before, and now we are preparing to slaughter qurbanis in Eid Al Adha. Our team will visit the country and supervise the sacrifices. We also want to widen our work for the orphans and the malnutritioned babies, as well.
