Water Wells

Approximately 700 million people in the world suffer from water shortage. 2 billion people have a clean water problem. About 1000 children die every day from polluted water. About 2 million people die each year due to drought, disease and difficulty in accessing water.
NEED Charity have dug wells in over 30 different countries around the world. With your support, we reach depths that vary depending on the country and provide water solutions to the people of those in need.
With our 100% transparency policy, we provide photos and videos upon completion of the well with your sign affixed to it.

Deep Wells

We have been digging water wells in many countries for 8 years to provide clean, safe water for those in need. Deep level water well means that you are going deeper than surface level wells around more than a hundred meter depending on the area and these type of water wells last longer.

The Prophet (PBUH) stated that the best form of charity is to provide access to clean water. A well is a Sadaqah Jariyah; when you build a water well for a community in need, you will benefit for years to come since the well will keep supplying pure water.

We are able to film the water well as soon as we finalize it and we put a plaque with your name on it. We’ll provide you specifics about your well’s location and the neighborhood you’re helping. You will get images of the entire construction process, from planning to completion.

Water Tanks

Drought, poverty, rapid population growth and pollution threaten clean drinking water resources. In our world, where millions of people do not have healthy water, mass diseases are increasing day by day. We send clean water with water tanks to regions that suffer from water problems, especially since it is geographically impossible or financially very expensive to dig water wells.

Hand Pumps

Our hand-pump water wells, which have a depth of 15 to 90 meters and are used by approximately 200 to 400 people a day, are used by our brothers and sisters who have water shortages for approximately 5 years. Concrete body, hand pump, animal trough (Standard water wells are mostly built by using hand pumps and adding animal troughs. Water wells are built according to a certain surface concept as standard. However, apart from the surface construction concept determined depending on the conditions of some regions, a different concept and pump type can be used.)

Solar Powered Wells

More comprehensive water wells are digged in regions and situations where digging standard wells does not meet the need. These wells, which work with solar panels, can meet the needs of approximately 5 thousand people. Special water wells dug at a depth of 90 to 200 meters make a great contribution to the development and sustainability of livestock in the regions where they are built. In addition, it can be used for irrigation of agricultural lands and can be of vital importance in regions where drought is experienced. The costs of these wells vary on a project basis.
