As NEED Charity, it’s been quite a difficult year for us. 2023 was the year of catastrophes; at the beginning of the year there was an earthquake in Türkiye and Syria unfortunately. It was a really big disaster and we had to move quickly. We gathered a team of 9 people and hit the road in 2 days to Hatay. We distributed many aids including hot meals, food boxes, heaters, coal and many more. We stayed there for a couple of days and distributed your amanah to the needy people. Also, our team in Syria distributed many aids and we started a campaign for 100 houses in Syria, alhamdulillah!

 And there was another earthquake in Afghanistan, unfortunately. It destroyed many homes and killed many people. May Allah have mercy on them. We also distributed hot meals, zakat, blankets, and many more to those people as well.

And Gaza, the bleeding wound of the Ummah! We cannot say enough about Gaza and our efforts are always not enough, but may Allah give barakah to all organizations’ work. We have been distributing hot meals in Gaza from the beginning of the resistance, alhamdulillah. We have been distributing not only hot meals but also food packs, zakat in cash form, medical supplies and more as much as we can. However, the sources are limited and it got harder and harder to distribute, but then Allah always opened another window for us and we always conveyed the amanah!

Also, there were 2 ships to go to Gaza from Türkiye, in the protection and control of Turkish government. We had to take the chance to send whatever we can. As NEED Charity, In the first ship we have sent 500 ready-to-eat food packs, and in the second ship we have sent 15 tons of flour with your support, alhamdulillah!

Other than all these urgent needs, we have opened many water wells and madrasah, we have slaughtered hundreds of qurbani both in Eid al Adha and as sadaqah and aqiqah qurbanis. We make hamd to Allah (swt) for allowing us to help the Ummah and we thank you dear NEED Charity donors for always trusting and supporting us!

It’s been more than 2 months and Gaza is still under attack. Many building are destroyed by the t*rrorist isr*eli army and many people are k*lled. The t*rrorist isr*el never stopped k*lling people for even a few days during the cease fire. They violated the rules of the cease fire, as expected from them. People asked each other about what they think of this cease fire, would it be any good? Everybody said the conditions were for Gaza but you can never trust any Isr*eli and they were right. We didn’t trust any of the z*onists and they didn’t prove us wrong. They did what they do best, oppression.

Some captives were swapped. On the Hamas side, the Isr*eli captives were taken care of really well and they were contented, they had food, water, they could satisfy their needs whenever they needed. Even some old lady said, the Hamas Mujaheeds were so kind to her that they didn’t let her even clean the toilet she used, she said that they treated her like a mother.

On the Isr*eli side, the Palestinian captives were released like they were getting arrested. The Isr*eli t*rrorists assaulted them, shouted at them and they forbid the families from rejoicing. A Palestinian man said he was kept in cold for the first day with only his underwear with other tens of people. He said their eyes were blind-folded and they didn’t even know the person next to them, it was also raining. The reason behind all this is that the Isr*eli t*rrorists don’t see other people as human, and the secret reason is that they know this is a defeat for them.

At the end of the day, the war continues, the civillians are dy*ing including babies, children and women. 70-80% of the world is against all this genocide but nobody can do anything about it unfortunately, other than protests and marchings, which actually gives cheer up the Mujahedeen as far as we learnt. As we see them fight and we get happy that they can resist these t*rrorist isr*el’s army, they see us marching and protesting for them and they get happy to know that we are with them, they get encouraged.

And what NEED Charity does in these days? We are trying to help as fast as possible and we distribute hot meals as much as we can. We saw the videos of tens of people, trying to get food while thousand of trucks are waiting outside to go inside Gaza. Their situation is heart-breaking. What we need to do now is to make dua for them, and to shout their situation to everyone around us. If we stop talking about Gaza, then we all will be defeated. So, NEVER STOP TALKING ABOUT GAZA!

What is an orphan? A child who doesn’t have his mother or father, and sometimes, unfortunately, neither. Orphans mostly cannot get the attention and the love they need from their family. In developed countries, they might get the care they require to be a good person of the society, but in under-developed countries, the orphans mostly need to work to earn the money their family need. So, life is more than difficult for the orphans in under-developed countries.

As NEED Charity, we strive to help the orphans in every way possible. Our orphanage in Afghanistan is the proof for it. It has a capacity of 300 children. The children come in the morning and go at the evening to their homes because we don’t want them to feel abandoned by their families, and still get to see their family members every day. They learn Quran in this orphanage, they also learn math, English language, tailoring, and carpet weaving so that they will have a job after they graduate from this facility, and even if they cannot continue their education, they will be able to earn their own money (we would prefer they continue their education, though).

And now as NEED Charity, we will be starting our 300 Orphan Sponsorship campaign for 2024, in the next couple of days as we did last year. Thanks to your support, 300 orphans and a few of the poorest children were able to attend our orphanage. Now, it’s time to renew their sponsorships. We know that with your support we will be able to continue to take care of them. May Allah accept from everyone who contributes to these children’s lives.

Don’t forget, The Rasoolullah (saw) said: “I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this,” putting his index and middle fingers together. May Allah allow us to be one of these people.

The winter is nearing and the weather is getting cold. Some of us have been waiting for winter from the beginning of the summer. These people love the cold so much that they might be having cold showers in summer to simulate the cold weather and they must love wearing thick clothes while still feeling cold.

Although not everyone is a fan of winter nor summer, everyone has to make some preparations for the winter. We should prepare our thicker clothes, coats, boats and scarves. We should not hesitate to turn on the heaters and to use our thick and warm blankets fort he night.

However, not everyone has these opportunities, like the winter clothes or proper heaters. Even if they have, their clothes are either old or torn down and their heaters don’t have enough fuel to be used. Even some of them don’t have homes, instead they have to live in tents. Maybe you understand whom we are talking about. The people in Syria and Afghanistan. They lost their homes due to conflicts and natural disasters. Now they try to live in tents with their families, maybe with their new-born children.

As NEED Charity, we wanted to start our Winter Appeal as we do every year to distribute needed clothes and fuels to those people. We know that we cannot do this without your support. Our aim is to reach as many people as possible and to distribute coats, boats, scarves, coal, wood and fuel for heaters. We know you, our generous donors, will not leave them alone and as NEED Charity we are very happy to be the brigde between you and the needy.

Let’s start the Winter Appeal together and reach as much needy people as we can with the help of Allah. We know that we cannot change the season of the weather but we can help them survive this cold, as well. Let’s keep the Ummah warm together!

Gaza, the bleeding wound of the Ummah. Now in occupation of t*rrorist Isr*el, everyday is like it’s borrowed from hell. Every morning we wake up to see another news of Isr*el’s brutal genocide attacks on Gaza, of which most of the population is kids. Every night, we go to bed upon seeing that this t*rrorist Isr*el army cuts of power and communication, then attacks Gaza with almost everything they have. None of the Muslims around the world can do anything about this, wallahi the day of judgement is very near.

As NEED Charity, we have distributed hot meals, food packs, medical supplies, water and more, however these were all gathered from the inside of Gaza as nobody can get through the borders. Shame on us, all we can do is to condemn, boycott and protest. Of course this is better than nothing, at least we show everyone that we are together with Gaza and we will not forget and forgive what is happening, but still not enough to save those people.

This t*rrorist state tells the civillian to go to so-called “safe” areas and k*lls them on the way. They commit the biggest war crimes, they bomb hospitals, schools, mosques, churches, anywhere that the people gather together even if it’s for food, water or basic materials. Eveybody knows it’s genocide and the most powerful governments of the world are now only hypocrites.

There are good things happening, as well. More and more people learn about the reality of Gaza and Islam. More and more people wants to read Quran and become Muslim, alhamdulillah. Many charities like us, NEED Charity, are gathering funds to support the people in Gaza and Gaza will be rebuilt after it becomes free, inshaAllah.

At the end of the day Allah is the greatest and the most merciful.

“…They planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners.” (8:30)

“Do not think ˹O Prophet˺ that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them until a Day when ˹their˺ eyes will stare in horror—rushing forth, heads raised, never blinking, hearts void.” (14:42,43)

We keep doing what we do, we boycott, we spread the news, we don’t forget or forgive what they are doing now, and we trust Allah will give their punishment, soon inshaAllah. We pray Allah (swt) to see their punishment in this world and as soon as possible. May Allah accept our efforts and give barakah to our works.

Last Saturday, a powerful 6.3 magnitude earthquake followed by strong aftershocks struck western Afghanistan. Unfortunately, more than 2500 people died and 10000 were injured. 300 houses were partially or fully destroyed in the earthquake. According to the information we received from NEED Charity teams on the ground, people are still buried under the rubble. Rescue teams along with local men are struggling to pull out the dead and injured trapped under the razed houses. With communications down and many roads blocked, rescue workers are struggling to reach remote areas. Additionally, an estimated 300 families are reported to have been displaced to Herat City where they are living in abandoned buildings.

Earthquakes are common in Afghanistan, where there are a number of fault lines and frequent movement among three nearby tectonic plates. Afghans are still reeling from recent quakes, including the magnitude 6.5 earthquake in March that struck much of western Pakistan and eastern Afghanistan.

As NEED Charity, we reached the earthquake region on the second day and determined the most necessary things for the earthquake victims. We launched Urgent Relief Campaign for our brothers. We will urgently distribute food, water and blankets.

As you know, Afghanistan is already struggling with poverty, hunger, and water shortages. NEED Charity started to help to our people. Now they need you more than ever.

“Sadaqah extinguishes sins like water extinguishes fire. (Tirmizi) Sacrificing animal is one way to perform Sadaqah. NEED Charity accepts Sadaqah and Aqiqa animal donations in all 7 countries. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Uganda, Tanzania, Madagascar, Yemen and Syria. These countries are suffering from drought, famine, epidemics and war. We sacrifice sheep and large animals on request. Thanks to this khair, many needy people in these poor countries get meat, even if it is a small amount.

WHAT WE DO MEAT OF ANIMAL?

NEED Charity sacrifice animal for you and distribute to needy people, students in madrasa and orphans. People mostly live in tents and they do not even have hot meal opportunity. We built some madrasah and orphanage. If you make donation for animal, we cook hot meal for students in madrasah and orphanage. Every student and orphan will have good meal thanks to your donations. All the animal you donate, we deliver it within 3 days, sometimes in sameday. Furthermore we sent to our donor pictures and videos while the animal is being performed and distributed to let him know that it has been done.

WHY IS ANIMAL SACRIFICED ?

You can make animal sadaqah to thank good thoughts or to make difficult situations easier, such as health problems, accidents or big decisions. Also on behalf of someone living or dead. If you have a newborn baby, you can make aqiqa to thank Allah.

100 HOUSES PROJECT IN SYRIA

On 6 February there was a big earthquake in North of Syria and South of Turkey. Magnitude was 7.7 Thats why both of 2 countries were effected roinously. Firstly team of NEED Charity moved to South of Turkey for help. After a couple days, passed to Syria area. Our team were on the ground assesing and distributed food pack, blankets, baby stuffs and some medicines. We decided to build 100 houses for earthquake victim families.

100 HOUSES INAUGURATION

As promissed after 6 months, NEED Charity finished and delivered houses to families. We made big inauguration with familes and children. Houses and streets were adorned, toys and balloons were distributed to children. Inauguration was like a festival. Our sheikh made dua for all of our donors. Mentioned about being Muhajireen and Ansar. We visited all houses and gave gift to each of childern. For their daily expenses, distributed some amount zakah. Some of families invited us to their home, showed honor. We made good converstaion with them. Each of families has their own stories. Many of them lost family member, some injured, some lost during distribution. The common point for all them, noone had house because of war or earhquake.

HOPE FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIM FAMILIES

Thanks to our donors, they had their own house. We collected all amount for houses because of your intense interest. Your donations became warm house, hope and future for earthquake victim families in Syria. We as NEED Charity thanks to you to remember our brothers, sisters and children. They wil never forget what they lived but they will remember you always.

Afghanistan is struggling with many problems like poverty, hunger, epidemic and homelessness. All these problems affects their life unfavorably. But homelessness is getting bigger problem every passing day. NEED Charity visited there on last winter and summer and witnessed how our brothers and sisters’ situatons are hard. We started housing projects for families who live in tents in hard conditions.  

We as NEED Charity aim to build 43 houses instead of tent. Afghan Government gave 400 m2 land to poor families. Thats why houses will be built on their own land. This made our plan easir. Also to reduce the cost, houses will be builded with adope brick. Each of houses is 48 m2, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 hall and 1 living room. We are collecting the donations faster than our plan. Donors of NEED Charity are interested in this project. In 2 weeks, 34 houses were donated and only 9 houses are left. When this project finish, it will helps empowerment of that area. No more people will die due to scorching summers and freezing winters. Houses will help to them to focus their future. Thats why the project is significant more than normal. We will also be with them to solve their some other problems like lack of water, health and hunger.

Our team alreay started to construction. Aslo campaign is continue at the same time. We aim to deliver the houses to families before winter and make their life easier as much as we can.
